Do you only service Texas based businesses?
No! Bluebird Bookkeeping is a virtual firm, because of this we are able to service any business within the United States.
If I hire you as our bookeeper,
Do I need a CPA?
Yes! While there are many services we are able to provide, it would be wise to also keep close contact with your CPA regarding financial decisions. We will gladly work hand in hand with your CPA to make sure your business is taken care of!
What documents
do you need?
For monthly bookkeeping, we usually need: all bank and credit card statements, loan statements, check stubs or check images, deposit details, payroll information / reports, merchant statements, and any other documents we may request.
Can we meet
face to face?
If you are local to central Texas, we would love to meet with you in person! If you are not local, but still would like some face-to-face contact, we are also available for video conferencing.
What software
do you use?
At this time, Bluebird Bookkeeping strictly uses Quickbooks (Quickbooks online is our preference). We believe by focusing on a single software, we will be better able to serve our clients. If you use another accounting software, we would be happy to transfer you over.
How will you receive/deliver my documents?
-Sending information to Bluebird can be done one of two ways.
​ 1. Giving us "VIEW ONLY" access to your financial accounts.
2. Sending all documents through a shared folder (Google Drive)
-Delivery of monthly reports:
Reports will be delivered via email and stored in the shared folder as well.
What if I need
to contact you?
We are available by email, text, and phone during normal business hours. You are always welcome to contact us using any of those methods to reach out with questions or concerns. If we miss you, we will get back to you within 24 hours.
What is the process for providing payment?
During the onboarding process, we will get your business set up for automatic payments via ACH processing. We will schedule a monthly automatic payment for you between the 1st and 3rd of each month so you know exactly when and how much you will be paying. At Bluebird Bookkeeping we do our best to make sure you are never hit with unexpected surprises. It’s such a relief to be able to plan for your expenses!
